Approach
- Peru engaged on a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) assignment.
- All stakeholders were consulted to understand requirements, set expectations, and establish EACI model.
- We took operational control of the key processes of the function.
- We established best practices including governance with tier 1 suppliers, earlier engagement in projects, and proactive approach to renewals and contract renegotiation.
- Peru redefined role definitions and career paths.
- Peru transitioned its activities to the client’s team.
Outcome
- A new function has been established based on best practices.
- Peru made significant savings and improvements during the process of Build and Transfer.
- The clients’ CFO is taking this best practice and using it more widely across the organisation.
